Christmas at Great Oak
Advent Reading Plan
As a church body, we are going to study the reading plan, King of Kings, on the YouVersion Bible app, starting December 1st. We will reflect on Scripture in both the Old and New Testaments that all point towards the coming of Christ.
As we look at the story of Christ's anticipated arrival over this Christmas season, our prayer is that you would remember that Jesus came to be the embodiment of God's promises for salvation and redemption Tap the button to join us!

sermon series
After the exile, the Israelites returned to Jerusalem and rebuilt the temple, but life was not the same. The people had lost heart, they questioned God's love and justice, and cynicism reigned. The whole time, God had a plan.
700 years before He was born, the prophet Isaiah told the Israelites that God would send a Messiah, a Savior. And He would be a King like no other. His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Join us each Sunday in December as we will take a closer look at how Christ lives up to each of those names in Isaiah 9:6.
