After 35 years, our beloved Pastor has retired. His leadership has been a huge part in shaping our church community and we express our deepest gratitude for his tireless dedication, wisdom, and compassion. Our church will continue to be a pillar of strength for our community, providing a space for worship, fellowship, and support.

The coming months will be a period of adjustment for our congregation, but our commitment to serving the community, fostering inclusivity, and spreading the message of love & compassion will continue. We invite you to join us in supporting one another during this time, as we continue to grow together as a resilient and compassionate community.

Meet the staff

bethany hollingsworth

Transitional Associate Pastor
Hello! I've had the joy of serving this community since 2012 and now serve as the Transitional Associate Pastor while completing my Master of Arts in Local Church Ministry degree from Grace Theological Seminary.

I am most passionate about studying Scripture and helping people grow as they follow Jesus. I believe we grow best in spaces where everyone feels comfortable asking questions, sharing doubts, and exploring their faith together. Whether you're just beginning to explore faith in Jesus or have been walking with God for years, Great Oak is a place where your questions and perspectives are valued.

My husband Drew and I, along with our five children, have called Great Oak home since 2006. One of my greatest joys is seeing how God brings together people from all walks of life to form genuine, caring relationships here. At Great Oak, we value authentic faith conversations and genuine community. My prayer is that you'll discover here what our family has found: a place where you can grow, connect, and feel truly at home.

RODNEY CRAWFORD

Director of Youth Ministry
Hi, I’m Rodney!  I was raised in church, but it wasn’t until my teenage years that I truly made my faith my own. I have spent several years working with youth, children, and young adults in a variety of ministry settings.

As the Director of Youth, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where teens can explore their faith, ask tough questions, and build deep relationships with God and each other. I believe that every young person has unique gifts and talents that God wants to use for His kingdom, and I’m passionate about helping them discover and develop those gifts.

My hope is that every student who comes through our doors will feel seen, heard, and loved. When I’m not at church, you can usually find me spending time with my wife, playing video games/card games with friends, or at your local disc golf course!

ALLISON SELLS

Office Administrator
Welcome! My family and I have been attending Great Oak since 2003, and I have been on staff since October 2007. I love being part of a local church community and am grateful for the opportunity to provide administrative support for the ministry. I'm a fan of medium roast coffee and dark chocolate, Colts football, and spending time with family and friends.

I grew up in church as a child but have found my own faith in 2020 here. I am so passionate about my position here & can’t wait to continue assisting in the design aspect of our church!
